Kampung Padang Jawa, 25 April 2022 – An initiative was undertaken by Yayasan Sejahtera in collaboration with OCBC Bank in assisting the B40 group affected by the recent floods with the provision of food aid. With a fund of RM 6000 for this program, a total of 45 families in this area has been benefited from this program. The program also gets the support of Mydin which helps in terms of logistics of food aid delivery.
Food aid consisting of food items during the festival such as flour, sugar, honey, rice, and a few more are expected to be able to carve a smile to the recipients, especially as they been tested when the festival is approaching. The food aid handover session was handed over by Tuan Haji Abdul Halim Bin Hassan and assisted by volunteers from Yayasan Sejahtera
Yayasan Sejahtera would like to convey appreciation to OCBC Bank, Mydin, and Tuan Haji Abdul Halim Bin Hassan, as well as the volunteers who have together, helped make this program a success and ease the burden on the recipients affected by the floods.
