Sik’s Uplift & Income Recovery Programme by Yayasan Sejahtera, Yayasan Hasanah & CDF Fund

Sik, Kedah – Yayasan Sejahtera in collaboration with Yayasan Hasanah and CDF fund have collaborated by holding programs that help the B40 group in this area to help the selected participants increase their income. The program, which specializes in the production of “kelulut honey”, targets 30 people from the B40 group and in the age group of 18-55 years that will be selected to participate in the program with proper training and guidance throughout the program.

The program, which is designed for 6 months and has 3 stages, aims to alleviate the burden of the B40 group affected by the Covid 19 pandemic. The first phase of the program was conducted in which training and briefing sessions by Mr. Basir bin Hussain on 18-19 April 2021. While the handover session of equipment to produce “kelulut honey” was handed over on 27-28 November 2021 and 22-23 January 2022

This program is very beneficial for the selected participants and can help them to increase their income affected during the time of Movement Control Order (MCO) that has been implemented by the government. In addition, this program also provides participants with knowledge and experience this field as well as give them the job opportunities for those affected during the Covid-19.
